3rd Party Tested

Our testing lab confirms peptides sequential signatures

Lyophilized Peptides: These peptides are freeze-dried, a process that not only extends shelf life but also preserves the purity and integrity of the peptides during storage.

Non-Lyophilized Peptides: Offered as a dry powder, these peptides, while not as extensively processed as lyophilized peptides, still maintain a high level of purity. Their stability, though not as enhanced as in lyophilized form, is sufficient for maintaining quality under proper storage conditions.

98.5% vs. 99% Purity: Both grades are manufactured in our US-based facility and tested for quality at a third party lab. While the 99%+ purity grade is our highest reference grade product line, the 98.5% purity variants still exceed US pharmaceutical standards.

BPC 157 Overview

BPC 157 is a peptide consisting of 15 amino acids, derived from a portion of body protection compound (BPC) that is produced in the human stomach. It is often referred to as a “healing peptide” due to its remarkable recovery and regenerative properties, particularly for the gastrointestinal tract and the musculoskeletal system.

BPC-157 and Wound Healing

BPC-157 has been found to have practical applicability in wound therapy, including incisional/excisional wounds, deep burns, diabetic ulcers, and alkali burns. It has been shown to promote healing by resolving vessel constriction, stabilizing the primary platelet plug, and resolving the clot. It has also been found to counteract bleeding disorders produced by amputation and/or anticoagulant application [R].

Research has shown that BPC-157 can induce nitric oxide generation, which is considered to play a significant role in tissue healing and angiogenesis. This nitric oxide modulation is involved in the healing effect of BPC-157 in different tissue injuries [R].

BPC-157 has also been found to interact with the nitric oxide system, providing endothelium protection and an angiogenic effect. It has been shown to stimulate the expression of the early growth response 1 gene, which is responsible for cytokine and growth factor generation and early extracellular matrix (collagen) formation [R].

BPC-157 and Gastrointestinal (GI) Health

BPC 157 is originally an anti-ulcer agent, native to and stable in human gastric juice, and is effective across the entire gastrointestinal tract. It has been used in clinical trials for ulcerative colitis and multiple sclerosis, and has shown consistent healing effects on various wounds, including skin, muscle, tendon, ligament, bone, and ulcers in the entire gastrointestinal tract. BPC-157 has been effective in healing various types of fistulas, including external (esophagocutaneous, gastrocutaneous, duodenocutaneous, colocutaneous) and internal (colovesical, rectovaginal) fistulas [R].

Research has shown that BPC-157 may play a role in maintaining gastrointestinal mucosa integrity, acting as a novel cytoprotection mediator. It has been used in ulcerative colitis trials and has shown potential in counteracting the leaky gut syndrome and free radical scavenging activity in various tissues. It has also been found to counteract various encephalopathies and gastrointestinal and liver lesions induced by non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). In the context of the brain-gut and gut-brain axes, BPC-157 has demonstrated beneficial effects, including anxiolytic, anticonvulsive, and antidepressant effects [R, R].

BPC-157 has also shown potential in resolving major vessel occlusion disturbances, such as ischemia-reperfusion injury following the Pringle maneuver and Budd-Chiari syndrome. It has been suggested that BPC-157 may have a role in endothelium maintenance, which is crucial for the function of the gastrointestinal system [R].

BPC-157 and Neurological Health

BPC-157 has been shown to have beneficial effects on neurological disorders. It has been found to counteract various encephalopathies and behavioral disturbances, and it may also have a positive impact on muscle disabilities related to central nervous system disturbances. It has been suggested that BPC-157 therapy might recover many muscle disabilities, including those caused by traumatic brain injury, severe electrolyte disturbances, neurotoxins, neuroleptics, alcohol, serotonin syndrome, and NO-system blockade [R].

FAQ

What is BPC-157 Arginate Salt?

BPC-157 Arginate Salt is a stable form of the synthetic peptide BPC-157, which is being investigated for its regenerative effects. BPC-157 is a novel anti-ulcer peptide that has been used in trials for the treatment of ulcerative colitis and multiple sclerosis. The Arginate Salt form of BPC-157 is more stable in the stomach, making it more bioavailable when taken orally. This form has been shown to have beneficial effects on wound healing, muscle, tendon, ligament, and bone injuries, as well as having a neuroprotective effect and improving blood pressure [R].

How Does BPC-157 Work?

BPC-157 appears to exert its effects by altering gene expression in the hippocampus, resolving neuronal damage, and preventing memory, locomotor, and coordination deficits. It has also demonstrated consistently positive and prompt healing effects for various injury types in musculoskeletal soft tissue [R, R].

How Has the Oral Form of BPC-157 Been Used for Research?

In research, BPC-157 has been successfully applied using various methods, including oral administration. BPC-157 oral capsules have been used in studies to investigate their effects on a variety of conditions. These include accelerating the healing of wounds, including tendon-to-bone healing and damaged ligaments, combating leaky gut, IBS, gastrointestinal cramps, and Crohn’s disease, and protecting and preventing gastric ulcers.
